New on Prime Video This Week: Top Movies & Series (Nov 2–Nov 8, 2026)

New on Prime Video this week (Nov 2 to Nov 8, 2026), picked for viewers 65 and up: it’s a short list, but both titles are worth your time. There’s a new Muhammad Ali drama series and a documentary about one of football’s biggest personalities.

Highlights for the Week

What’s the biggest new arrival on Prime Video this week?

The Greatest, on Nov 4. It’s an eight-episode drama about Muhammad Ali’s early life, made with the backing of his estate, and every episode drops at once.

Is there anything for football fans?

Yes. Terrell & T.O., out Nov 5, is a feature-length documentary about Terrell Owens. Steve Young, Jerry Rice and Andy Reid all weigh in.

Why is the list so short?

Prime Video front-loaded the month with a big batch of classic and holiday films on Nov 1, then saved its next wave for later in November. This week’s two picks are the only new movies and series we found landing Nov 2 to 8.

Top New Movies on Prime Video This Week

Nov 5 – Terrell & T.O. (2026)

A feature-length Prime Video documentary about Terrell Owens, directed by Alexandria Stapleton. It covers his dominance as a receiver and the locker room and media fights that followed him from San Francisco to Philadelphia to Dallas. Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Andy Reid, Tony Romo and Jerry Jones all appear.

If you watched T.O. do sit-ups in his driveway on the evening news, this one will bring it all back. It’s a fair look at a player people loved and loved to argue about. Expect some locker room language, but nothing graphic.

This was the only new movie we found arriving on Prime Video this week.

Top New TV Series on Prime Video This Week

Nov 4 – The Greatest (2026)

The first authorized scripted series about Muhammad Ali. Jaalen Best plays young Cassius Clay, with Omari Hardwick as his father, Michael Ealy as Malcolm X and Giovanni Ribisi as trainer Angelo Dundee. Ben Watkins created it, Michael B. Jordan’s company produced it, and Lonnie Ali is an executive producer.

Many of us remember exactly where we were for the big Ali fights. This series spends more time on the man than the matches: son, husband, brother and father. There’s boxing violence and frank scenes of the racism of the era, but for anyone who lived through those years, it’s the one to watch this week.

This was the only new series we found arriving on Prime Video this week.
