New on Hulu This Week: Top Movies & Series (Nov 2–Nov 8, 2026)
November 4, 2026 — 65Nation
New on Hulu this week (Nov 2 to Nov 8, 2026), picked for viewers 65 and up: a classy spy thriller with Cate Blanchett, a beautiful wolf documentary from National Geographic, an Australian outback mystery, and a Korean palace drama that’s easy to get hooked on.
Highlights for the Week
What’s the best new movie on Hulu this week?
Black Bag, arriving Nov 2. Steven Soderbergh’s tight little spy thriller stars Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender as married spies who may be lying to each other. It runs about an hour and a half and never wastes a minute.
Is there something calm and family-friendly?
Wolves Up Close with Bertie Gregory, on Nov 6. It’s a National Geographic special about a wolf pack in the Canadian Arctic, and it’s the kind of nature film you can watch with anyone.
Which new series should I try?
High Country Season 2 (Nov 3) if you like moody detective stories, or The Remarried Empress (Nov 4) if you’d like a lavish romance with subtitles.
Top New Movies on Hulu This Week
Nov 2 – Black Bag (2025)
A British intelligence officer, Michael Fassbender, is told that someone in his agency is a traitor, and his own wife, Cate Blanchett, is on the list of suspects. Steven Soderbergh directs.
A grown-up spy movie in the old style: dinner parties, sharp dialogue and very little running around. It’s rated R, mostly for language and a bit of violence, and it’s one of the smarter thrillers of recent years.
Nov 6 – Wolves Up Close with Bertie Gregory (2026)
Wildlife filmmaker Bertie Gregory returns to the Canadian Arctic to follow a wolf pack he has tracked for seven years. Led by an aging white male named Kona, the pack faces a hard winter, scarce food and a rival wolf. Polar bears, a wolverine and a river otter make appearances too.
The photography alone is worth it, and Gregory is an easygoing guide. There’s a moose hunt, so very young or sensitive viewers might need a heads-up, but otherwise this is a lovely one for the whole family.
Nov 8 – Heart Eyes (2025)
A mix of romantic comedy and slasher movie. A masked killer targets couples on Valentine’s Day, and two coworkers, Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding, get mistaken for a pair.
Honest heads-up: this one skews young and it’s gory. It got good reviews and it’s funny, but unless you enjoy horror, skip it or save it for the younger folks in the family.
These were the only three new movies we could confirm for Hulu this week.

Nov 3 – High Country Season 2 (2024)
The Australian mystery series returns. Leah Purcell plays detective Andrea Whitford, who was moved to a remote town in Victoria’s high country, where Season 1 had her chasing the disappearance of five locals.
Big landscapes, slow-burning secrets and a tough, likable lead. If you enjoy Mystery Road or British village crime shows, it’s a good fit. Some scenes are dark and violent.
Nov 4 – All’s Fair Season 2 (2025)
Ryan Murphy’s glossy legal drama about an all-female divorce firm returns with three episodes. Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close star, and Cauã Reymond joins this season.
Critics were rough on Season 1, and it’s more soap opera than courtroom. Still, Glenn Close and Sarah Paulson are fun to watch, and if you like big outfits and bigger drama, you may enjoy it. Expect adult language and themes.
Nov 4 – The Remarried Empress (2026)
A Korean period fantasy based on a popular webtoon. Empress Navier, Shin Min-a, keeps her composure when her husband the emperor brings a concubine into the palace. Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk and Lee Se-young co-star. Four episodes arrive at once.
Lavish costumes, palace intrigue and a heroine with real dignity. It’s in Korean with subtitles, and if you’ve never tried a K-drama, this is a gentle place to start. Mostly mild content.
These were the only three new series we could confirm for Hulu this week.
