Hi-C Orange Is Back: Now as a Frozen Slushie at BK

If the taste of orange Hi-C brings back good memories, you are not alone. That bright, sweet orange flavor has been a staple at fast food counters for decades. And now it has a brand-new form.

Burger King just launched the Hi-C Orange Freezee King, a frozen slushie version of the classic Hi-C orange drink. It is available now at Burger King locations nationwide in small, medium, and large sizes.

Hi-C has been around since the late 1940s, when Coca-Cola introduced it as a Minute Maid product. It started with orange flavor and grew from there, grape, fruit punch, and pink lemonade all joined the lineup over the years. Today, Hi-C’s Orange Lavaburst and Poppin’ Pink Lemonade are still served at many fast food chains across the country.

The new Freezee King keeps things simple. It is all about that signature orange Hi-C taste, delivered ice-cold in frozen slushie form. No frills, no additions, just the flavor you remember.

For some context, McDonald’s recently added its own orange Hi-C-inspired drink to its menu as well. Their version is called Orange Dream and comes with creamy vanilla and sweet cold foam. Burger King’s take skips all of that and lets the orange flavor speak for itself.

The Hi-C Orange Freezee King is a limited-time offer, so it will not be around forever. If that orange flavor is one you have always had a soft spot for, it is worth stopping by your nearest Burger King while you still can.
