What to eat and where to eat.

Berry season is here, and so is one of Sam’s Club’s most talked-about bakery items. The Member’s Mark Mixed Berry Crumble Pie is back on shelves, and shoppers are already excited.

This 10-inch pie is packed with blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries, all nestled in a golden-brown crust. On top sits a brown sugar cinnamon oat crumble, the kind of topping that makes a fruit pie feel like a real treat.

The pie weighs in at 44 ounces and is priced at just $9.86. That’s a lot of dessert for very little money, and there’s no baking, no peeling fruit, and no cleanup involved. Just slice it and serve.

It works beautifully at a backyard cookout or a summer brunch. And if you want to take it a step further, a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top does the trick nicely.

Shoppers have been enthusiastic since its return. One reviewer wrote, So happy berry pie is back!! Loaded with fruit and crumb topping is a perfect balance. I bought this for Thanksgiving 2 years ago, and my guests and family couldn’t stop eating it. We ate 3 pies. You won’t be disappointed.

Another kept it simple: My new favorite. Nice combination of berries. Excellent taste.
