If you have not stopped by Dunkin’ lately, now might be a good time. The coffee-and-donut chain launched a brand-new spring menu on April 29.
There is a lot to choose from, new drinks, new frozen options, and one donut flavor that Dunkin’ has never offered before.
A New Black Cherry Refresher
The centerpiece of the drink lineup is a new Black Cherry flavor. It shows up in four different Refreshers, each with its own twist:
- Cherry Lime Rickey Refresher — Black Cherry mixed with a new Limeade for a crisp, tart finish
- Cherry Daydream Refresher — Black Cherry with oat milk and Sweet Cold Foam
- Very Cherry Daydream Refresher — adds toasted almond notes for a bolder taste
- Cherry Protein Daydream Refresher — made with protein milk for a more filling option
The new Limeade base also opens the door to other combinations, including Raspberry Limeade, Coconut Limeade, Matcha Limeade, and Strawberry Dragonfruit Limeade Refreshers.
Dunkin’ Gets Into the Dirty Soda Trend
You may have heard about dirty soda; it has been popping up everywhere lately. Dunkin’ is now joining in with its own version: coffee milk combined with Pepsi and topped with Sweet Cold Foam.
Anthony Epter, Dunkin’s vice president of menu innovation, explained the thinking behind it. According to a press release shared with Parade, he said, “Summer is when customers get more playful with what they drink.”
Oreo Is All Over This Menu
Oreo and Dunkin’ have teamed up for a limited-time run of cookie-inspired drinks. If you have a soft spot for those classic chocolate sandwich cookies, there is something here for you:
- Oreo Cloud Latte — espresso with Marshmallow Cold Foam and cookie crumbles
- Oreo Matcha — matcha with vanilla notes and a creamy topping
- Oreo Coolatta — a frozen vanilla bean drink blended with cookie pieces
New Frozen Coffee Drinks
Dunkin’ is also introducing a new line called Coffee Chillers, frozen coffee drinks designed to be smoother and creamier than before. Three flavors are available at launch:
- OREO Coffee Chiller
- Caramel Creme Coffee Chiller
- Triple Mocha Coffee Chiller
You can also build your own by choosing a dairy base and a flavor you like.
The Donut That Has Never Existed Before
Here is the item that caught everyone’s attention. Dunkin’ is now selling a Fruit Punch Donut, a first for the brand. It is topped with bright icing and sprinkles, giving it that classic summertime punch-bowl feel.
Alongside it are Fruit Punch Munchkins, made from blueberry cake and coated in a colorful mix. If you remember grabbing a cup of fruit punch at a summer cookout back in the day, these might bring back a good memory or two.
